Chapter Governing Documents represent the minimum requirements to run a chapter as presented by SLA headquarters. These can be changed by a two-thirds vote of the chapter board, but must be reviewed by the SLA Association Bylaws Committede before presentation to the local members. Revision of the Governing Documents is the responsibility of the Past-President. Click here to view the chapter governing document.

The Chapter Practices are the more detailed descriptions (formerly Bylaws) of how the specific chapter operates. These can be amended at any time by a vote of the board without any other approval.
