Vol. 28 No.7, Summer 2001

How do you want your newsletter?

The printed newsletter has been a staple of our chapter for many years. Good times, bad times, meetings, your promotions, delivered seven times a year. But Technology moves on and considerable savings could be gained if we went electronic. We believe reduced printing and mailing costs could free up money for other uses and better services.

371 members in the Southern California Chapter have e-mail addresses. One option is to have the newsletter e-mailed to you in PDF form. We can’t say for sure how soon this would happen, perhaps by Spring 2002. Please be sure your e-mail address is current in the SLA member profile. You should update it regularly at http://member.sla.org/interview/memberonly.tass.

Another option is for us to e-mail you when a new issue comes out and you can view/download it from our website at http://www.sla.org/chapter/csca.

If you do not have reliable electronic access or you just still want it to read in "hard copy", that’s okay too.

Just let us know by dropping an e-mail note to slasocalnewsletter@mail.com. Otherwise, you’ll continue to get the hard copy of the newsletter by mail.
