SLA affiliation: Co-Chair, Sternheim Scholarship Fund Committee. Also past SLA Board of Directors member as Division Cabinet Chair/Chair-Elect.

Education: M.A. Librarianship and Information Management, University of Denver;

Years in librarianship: 22+

My hobbies/interests include theatre, travel, dancing, sitting by a pool or on a beach enjoying the scenery.

I became a librarian because Broadway wasn’t ready for me – actually, it was an offshoot from wanting to work in a museum capacity and managing all kinds of information was the interesting part. Buy me a drink or two and you can hear the rest!

If I weren’t a librarian, I’d be doing work in theatre or dance.

Before I die, I want to meet a lot more people, make more friends, do a lot more things.

If I won the lottery I’d travel, theatre, whatever --- who cares? I’d be rich!

The strangest job I ever had was selling 45 rpm records (remember those?) door-to-door.

Favorite tourist attractions include aquariums, museums and anything tall with a great view.

On my last vacation I went to Australia.

Favorite movie: Strictly Ballroom

Favorite author: Isaac Asimov

Favorite entertainer: Bette Midler

Favorite newscaster: Diane Sawyer

People would be surprised to know that I choreographed a county competition for the Miss Utah/ Miss USA pageant --- maybe that isn’t so surprising?
